Detail of the rugged north... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Detail of the rugged north...
Detail of the rugged north face of the south ridge of Petes Pt. The small patch of snow is the only permanent snow on this mountain. Its a smaller amount of snow than is found on most the large mountains of the Wallowas, presumable because its further east and more of the moisture has already been raked out of the sky by the slightly higher peaks to the west. Oct. 2004.
