April 2003: view from the summit of another peak accessible from the Black Cone Trail, nicknamed 'White Cone' by the Ventana Wilderness Alliance. I'd scrambled up that thing about a month earlier during a trailwork outing and taken a picture of the USFS rain gauge installed on top.
