The NW toe of Bugboo. Bugaboo...

The NW toe of Bugboo. Bugaboo Rock says the technically easiest route starts near here, the 2,000' W face (5.4). Choosing that route means carrying crevasse rescue gear up to the summit, but chances are very slim that you'll have to share the route with other parties.

The Vowell Glacier starts 'way behind us, at the far end of Snowpatch, and wraps around Bugaboo to drain to the East. It also drains west, between Mount Conrad (skyline, L of center) and the hill in front of it. For that matter, it also drains south to the Bugaboo Glacier, in an icefall between Snowpatch and Pigeon Spires.
