Alternative approach to the northridge 2: the route starts in the lower left corner of the icewall traversing slightly to the right to go around the rocky part. Passing the tower on the right (easy, snowy ledge) you find the normal route up to the northridge. You can see that conditions in july 2001 were relatively safe thanks to the snow on the ridge.
