The steep Blaueis-Glacier... [ Sizes: Orig | Small | Thumb ]
The steep Blaueis-Glacier...
The steep Blaueis-Glacier seen from the easiest route to Hochkalter (facing south-east), the ridge over Rotpalfen and Kleinkalter. Ascending the glacier to reach the summit of Hochkalter is possible, too. Behind the notch raises the Hochkönig, the highest summit of Berchtesgaden Alps (2941m, Austria). Photo was taken in Summer 1985.
