Here's me passing some icicles about midway up the Southwest Route at the second set of cliffs one must pass. This scene had deteriorated quite a bit by the time we came back down to here. The sun had disengaged many of the icicles, some of whose falling had triggered minor avalanches. November 28, 2004.
