what a view! how deep was the snow up there, and when was this taken?

It's hard to say how deep the snow was, but I would guess somewhere between 10-20 feet. This was the snow-loaded side of the ridge; the other was virtually barren from the strong winds on the summit.

The photo was taken on December 4. I would guess the ridge would have considerably more snow by April or May...
