This large Aligator Juniper... [ Sizes: Orig | Small | Thumb ]
This large Aligator Juniper...
This large Aligator Juniper Tree shades one of the backcountry sites at Pine Top. As you can see, the site is large enough for just about any size tent. Snow can make these sites a bit muddy. No camping outside these pads is permitted. November 26, 2004.

We all love your fine contributions.
The Alligator Juniper also grows
in central Arizona. We spell
it with two l's - "Alligator." I
had forgotten the vast amount of
shade these trees can throw out.
I want one in my front yard!
