Sunny girl from the Hohe Geige

I have met this German girl (her name is Anna) at the height of 2.800 m and we ascended together so I photographed her on the summit. Absolutely amazing, lovely sunny girl with great beautiful soul. I wish every member of the SummitPost meets such amazing great people on his/her way!

	Hasn't voted	Actually you pointed to the real problem. Around 80 % folks I meet in mountains are people > 40 years old. Seems that young generation prefers to watch TV/surf the Internet. It's sad.

	Hasn't voted	Well the fact is that the ways young people enjoy mountains seem to vary a lot from one country to another. While in France and all Germanic countries it seems that only retired people walk, and that hiking is outdated for the young who prefer snowboard or playstation, I've been amazed how hiking is still popular amongst young people in Eastern Europe, as well as some other countries like Scotland, or the Spanish side of Pyrenees

	Hasn't voted	I am not talking just about straight hiking, climbing & speleology seem to be also an issue. Last time in Wienerwald it were just climbers around 35 years old.

	Voted 10/10	I've (unfortunately) never seen Wienerwald, but is it TRUE that Bohemia is located in Eastern Europe ??? 'Yatsek' never came back with an answer. :-) I'd be happy to meet some of the younger 'Czech generation' who LOVE the outdoor experience .. HERE !
