A view of the typical terrain we encountered on the North Ridge. This is the left (east) side. None of it was hard, really, and the exposure wasn't life threatening. Quite pleasant, actually, except for the "low on energy" part. Don't expect these kind of snow conditions in December ordinarily. 12/13/04.
