Is that the original register? When I got there only the copy was up there, I hope who ever stole the original has it in safe keeping, it is an American climbing treasure.

As far as I can tell, the register I am holding in the photo is not the original register. Most of the handwriting on the page displayed appears to be the work of a single individual. So, no, this is not the original.

That's too bad. It really does seem like the best summit registers are being taken for some reason or another. Barnard's is now gone, which was the best I've ever seen.
