The steep west ridge of Schwarzhorn from just west of the Grauspitzsattel

I just came down that ridge. It's UIAA grade II, and poor rock. Later today, I'll go back up again, because that's the easiest way to where I'm going - besides, I left my pack up there! If I hadn't come down, and first saw the ridge from this point of view, I doubt if I had climbed it. But the descent, although very exposed, had been easier than it looked, so I was confident to go up. 24 June 2012.
