I've seen a bunchof those fellas on the Zugspitze, Eric.
However, I thought they were Rooks? I wonder if the Chough is related to the Rook?

Yes, there is a big difference in the looks of those two species. What I saw on the Zugspitze was indeed the Chough.

Really nice!!Did you have to wait long to get the shot? Getting the birds in the frame adds to the photo tremendously.
