That's correct.

Raleigh Peak is a wonderful winter hike when the higher mountains are socked in, as is Long Scraggy. I can't believe that someone out there hasn't submitted this peak yet.

I was tempted to go over and climb Raleigh last weekend (we were in the vicinity after we found out Stony Pass was closed), but we ended up going to Chief Mtn. instead. Raleigh is a nice-looking peak... I'll have to head over there sometime!

That's funny, I was on Chief the weekend before last. Last weekend I went up Sniktau (sp?) and got blasted by the winds.

Grant, you talked about Raleigh a long time ago, it's nice to finally see a photo. I also remember seeing it in one of Ryan's shots as well. Nice looking peak. You could do a "Raleigh Peak and Cathedral Spires" page.

Yah, what’s up Kane,

I think leaving mountains for future member is much more worth wild than ME doing this page. I will definitely contribute when it's submitted in the future.

Hell, I'm still working on Greenhorn for over a year and a half now. That one is keeping me really busy.

I think that Cathedral Spires is one of those mountains that could be cut off due to private property in the future. Get up there and do it before you need a permit or permission.

Actually, better than a Cathedral/Raleigh combo would be a Cathedral/Banner Peak page (you could throw in Bishop Rock, as well). Raleigh Peak sits more by itself, and is better suited for its own page. I've been told that a house is being built at the saddle b/w Bishop Rock and Banner Peak, so Grant may very well be correct about an impending loss of access in the area. Cathedral and Banner have class 2 routes, but Bishop Rock sounds like a technical climb.

I was up there at the first of Jan and there is construction on one house and another is already built and has been there a while. I did Banner last winter, had to jump a couple of fences to get to the summit, and the first house was already built. So someoune is selling lots up there.

Bishop looks like their is about 15 to 20 feet of class 5.?.

Cathedral is at least a class 2+ and can easily turn into a class 3-5.

Banner is off limits. A few years ago it was open to the masses but not any more.
