Michael Prittwitzcongratulations!

Voted 10/10

Your first day on SP, your first pictures, they are beautiful like a dream. I was there (Osorno) in 1963 with 14 years (my father then worked 2 years in Valparaiso) and I have never ended to dream from this landscapes. I think I must return one day!

Good luck in SP

I caught a glimpse of this Volcano in 1995. It is still imbedded in my mind as a place to return to. Thanks for posting. Cheers William

D SmithLocation?

Voted 10/10

Was wondering which town was this taken from? Frutillar? Pto. Octay, Pto. Varas?

This shot was taken from the Calle Mirador in Puerto Varas. The street is close to the main street around the lake, but lays about 10 meters higher on a small ridge. Therefore it's perfect for photo shootings, especially at sunset. ;-)

What a perfect image. Somehow it has something very East-Asian to me even though it is in South America. Really beautiful.
