View towards the Kvarner Bay area of North Adriatic Sea from the upper part of Alan Pass road (1375m) (NW direction). Smaller bare island next to the seaboard side of Velebit is Goli Otok (227m) (Bare Island). Left of it is green Sveti Grgur (225m) (Saint Grgur Island). Behind is Krk (568m), one of two largest Croatian islands. In the distance is Ucka (1394m) mountain on Istra peninsula.
