Voted 10/10 | Good photo with great depth, very nice colors and light.
I love the view with the fresh snow.

Voted 10/10 | So, this one deserves one star more than the previous. But you risked a lot. Today it's hard to attract SPers attention ;-) | | Posted Jan 26, 2005 3:01 pm |

Hasn't voted | Sper's attention is only part of the reason why I resubmitted. This is my favourite picture and I simply was annoyed each time I saw it here. I had posted it on my first day on SP, not knowing about the blurring_while_reducing_the_size algorhythm :-( | | Posted Jan 26, 2005 5:04 pm |

Hasn't voted | Hadn't you seen it before Sasha? It had been around for more than a year. I thought I had read a comment by you on the old version. Well, now it is deleted and I have a new comment by you so all is well again ;-) | | Posted Jan 27, 2005 9:17 am |

Voted 10/10 | It seams I forgot that I’ve seen it before. So, it didn't fail to delight me again! ;-) | | Posted Jan 27, 2005 12:21 pm |

| Nyle Walton | Yosemite a la Dolomites | |
Hasn't voted | On first glance this scene reminded me of Yosemite Valley in the Sierras of California. However Yosemite's precipices are granite while the Dolomites are limestone. Both offer classical first-rate rock climbing. Snow hardly ever accumulates on the floor of Yosemite Valley while it gets quite deep in the ski resorts around Cortina. A great well-composed picture. | | Posted Oct 8, 2005 11:11 am |

Voted 10/10 | I find it amazing how much is going on within the picture. Such contemporaneous complextiy, so many different features, colour, and again the depth. Must have been a great experience. | | Posted Jun 17, 2006 8:49 pm |
| Mark Doiron | Incredible! | |
Voted 10/10 | Incredible image! I love the clouds; I love the way the imaged is composed to draw the viewer right into it. Well done! I'll bet Ansel Adams would be delighted (he hated bald skies).

Hasn't voted | Thanks Mark! It's one of my favourites though at the day I was quite disappointed. We had come to climb nearby Piz Boè but the clouds soon covered the top so that we turned round on this little summit, Zwischenkofel. The view is not as famous as some others of the Dolomites but you regularly see it in climbing magazines. | | Posted Jun 20, 2006 2:37 pm |
| Marian Matta | Very nice. | |
Voted 10/10 | Dolomites - my popular region. Nice. God light. | | Posted Dec 15, 2006 4:29 pm |
