The ridge (5500 feet), on the opposite side of the basin from Mt Skokomish, is the best way to reach Mt Hopper from the Lake of the Angels. Scramble along the avalanche slope on Mt Stone (right side of photo) and ascend the ridge and continue to the left towards the summit of Mt Hopper~July 13, 2004~
