After climbing Spodnja...

After climbing Spodnja Vrbanova spica we are preparing to ascend Rjavina over its N face ferrata. On the other side of Pekel (the upper part of Kot valley) the ridge of Vrbanove spice stretch. On this picture we see Spodnja (Lower) Vrbanova spica.

Far on the left of this picture we can see the lowest part of the crest between Spodnja and Visoka Vrbanova spica. There we were able to descend into Pekel to do a shortcut towards Rjavina.

I like the way

you are using people in your pics. You give the pics life and add a very personal touvh. The red color in this one gives a very speial depth.

Next: you are really getting around, your pics are from allover. How many weeks a year are dedicated to your mountain passion?

And more next: Your own country seems to be very beautiful, I'm more and more convinced that I have to go there sometime in the future.

Re: I like the way

Thanks, Jørgen! I like photography and I do it in mountains more than 30 years. Now, with digital cameras it's even easier.

With my wife we go out in nature almost every weekend, and for holidays too. Hiking, skiing, cycling in summer also in higher mountains. But I'm not a technical climber. Degree III is for me the upper limit and we have no climbing equipment. Only a few times in past I went with my friends on harder climbs.

Slovenian mountains are really very beautiful. If you come here mountaineering, you will certainly be satisfied. If you decide, just let me know to say a few more words. Ant till then see also other SP pages. Start for example on the Julian Alps Group page :-)
