Recent avalanche signs alongside the route
I'm on my way from Cabane des Aiguilles Rouges to Mont de l'Etoile, around 2900 m or so, on a section that's shared by the route to Pointe de Vouasson. The route itself is never steep enough to worry about avalanche danger, but there are a few places where the slopes lining the route are a bit steeper. However, as the route is mostly quite wide, it's not really a problem.
Still, this is a reminder of what could happen if I were to explore the area away from the ski tracks and venture out on steep terrain.
