Orbit involves a traverse... [ Sizes: Orig | Small | Thumb ]
 Orbit involves a traverse...
Orbit involves a traverse left, then a dog-leg back to the right. If you go straight up from the beginning of that left traverse, you'll find a sustained, 3-pitch, 5.9 route, Mary Jane Dihedral. It rejoins Orbit about half a ropelength below the roofs.

rpcIs that MJ Dihedral above?

Voted 10/10

Does Galaxy share some pitch(es) with Mary Jane Dihedral (5.9) route?

Maybe you could post a Galaxy route page?

Enjoying your SCW photos!

Cheers.

Oops. I think you're right, that's Mary Jane Dihedral, a 3-pitch variation that bypasses the dog-leg on Orbit. Galaxy's farther to the right. Somewhere I have a shot or two of Galaxy.
