I believe this is the ruins of one of the farms whose occupants who were forced from the area some time ago. The army moved in and ordered every out. Too close to the border with Chile it seems. Unsure as to why this was seen as an issue. Story was relayed to me by one of our mule providers in 1993. If these walls could talk.
