Mt. Triumph and Thornton Peak... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Mt. Triumph and Thornton Peak...
Mt. Triumph and Thornton Peak from the southwest (from Pk 4960+ near Helen Buttes) on Feb. 19, 2005. There should be a lot more snow on the peaks ordinarily. All the precipitation seems to be going to Southern California this winter. The Southern Pickets are looming beyond. In the midground are (L to R): "Salvation Peak" (Pk 5560+), Damnation Peak (5,635 ft), and Oakes Peak (5,681 ft).
