South Arete SEWS approach [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
South Arete SEWS approach
The approach to the South Arete of South Early Winters Spire from the east.
(hairpin curve - out of photo to the bottom right).
The approximate line of the route is also shown.
This approach is much more pleasant when the couloir is still filled with snow.
