This is what I called "Lofty Peak" (Peak 11158) on the SP page and "Cutthroat Peak" in the book. I'll reattach it to the other page.
Anyway, I found the name Lofty Peak on a geology book, but it was applied to the southern peak which is also known as Scout Peak to most. For the book I wrote, I just used the nearest named feature I could find, but found a few other sources, and unfortuantely they seem to use names for peaks interchangably. None of those peaks have real names. I think I'll work on changing the two back to the book names for conformity. | | Posted Jul 23, 2007 1:38 pm |
