Looking down the 5.7 Apron route. Derek Franzen is belayng from the lower stance. We thought it would be a romp in the park for our first trip to Midnight. Found out when we got there we had to climb the 5.9 Flame just to access the Apron. And getting to the start of the Flame required an easy, but very airy traverse.
