March 12th, 2005 - Red Top Pk...
March 12th, 2005 - Red Top Pk (aka. Haystack Pk), a subpeak of the American Fork Twin Peaks, seen from White Pine Canyon. The Northwest Ridge route ascends the tree-covered ridge right of center, crossing the often shallow windblown slopes above before ascending the final main ridge to the summit. It makes for a fun, and relatively safe winter route in the Wasatch. From there one can easily continue on to the American Fork Twins.
