Hasn't voted | When you go, the trip up the big mountain "Machu Picchu" is well worth the climb. Also, get to the ruins at 6:00AM if you want to spend any time in the ancient city without crowds of people milling around. | | Posted Apr 23, 2005 2:32 pm |

Those are not exactly buildings. What you see are the stone stairs at the top of the Class 3 route to the summit. There are some VERY large toppled stones on top that look like buildings from afar.
