This is the highpoint of Stetattle Ridge (Pk 6728, 1728P). It is not necessary to go over it on the way to Elephant Butte although it does provide a nice viewpoint. Its west-slope benches offer an easy bypass. Luna Peak is at left. May 16, 1998.
