Orizaba Camp at 15,600' [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Orizaba Camp at 15,600'
Camping beta: There are a series of campsites between the Piedra Grande Hut and the Jamapa Glacier. This is the High Camp at 15,600 ft. The campsite is very exposed with only rock walls for wind shelter, but otherwise safe from rockfall. There is room for 5-6 tents here, with a stream nearby with glacial melt water. This campsite also marks the beginning of the Labyrinth. March 2, 2005.

Here are photos of Camp 15,135' and Camp 15,340'
