Thank you very much for the kind comment! Lake LaCrosse has to be my favorite lake because it's a good 22 mile hike in to get there. Definitely worth the effort!

Photo. You mentioned that you have to walk to there ca. 22mills. I guess that there is less people there? Or I `m wrong.

For the two days I was at Lake LaCrosse there were no people. But I did see four black bears, a herd of elk, a golden eagle and a mtn goat! There's no fish in the lake but the waters are great to swim in, rather warm in August. Definitely an Olympic gem of wilderness!

Hey Orange, thanks for your comment :) We'll plan on getting together if the weather stays good out west. It's starting to finally snow now in the Olympics!
