Doin' the footsie ledge...
Doin' the footsie ledge shimmy on Dragon Peak. Ignore that little cloud following Dave, no one rained on our parade that day! 8 Oct 05

I saw this photo months ago, and just this morning was thinking of it again, spontaneously. It's the essence of mountaineering.

We were over on Mt. Dana 4 days after that. Same weather.

Appreciate your interest, this was a totally fun day for us even with the wind.

Good luck fighting your way thru the snow and ice to get there. :) Yep, I have no reason to live now with such low power points.

Total free climbing with no gear Sebastian, and yes there is quite a drop off. We can get pretty ballsy after lots of class 3 and 4 scrambling out there.

It reminds me of my children's favourite book, "The Jelly Monster", where the tag line is "wobble wobble wobble". That crack is no place to start wobbling!

HA! Yes, not a place to wobble. Dave sure amazes me at times...he can't much draw a straight line or paint a wall, but he sure can shimmy across a thin ledge! :) We have nearly the same size feet but I made sure my edges were jammed as close in that crack as possible. =8O
