Falco tinnunculus [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Falco tinnunculus
As the first picture of him was well accepted here's another one. 'Navadna postovka', falco tinnunculus. The guy was not scared at all, so I could have time to take pictures galore. Expersts say he is grown enough to survive if no enemy catches him. So it was ok when I left him where he was - near Zarica canyon of Sava river. June, 2007.

this little fella has been growing moss instead of feathers. Probably a survival camoflage?

No, I think as long as they're young, they have different colour of feather, which is now falling off and the new, brown one appears from below.
