Now that’s what I call depth of field!

What kind of lens did you use?

Any particular lens!

I made it with a digital camera (Nikon Coolpix 4300) at its shortest focal lenght, 8 mm. (35 mm equivalent = 38 mm)

Thanks!

Ciao Beppe Rustichelli e Lorenzo Trento

This is the same camera I have. You did great work with your camera. Great detail and light and perspective. I didn't know my camera could take such a great picture, but I'm too lazy to take the time! I just point and shoot any more. Congratulations on your well deserved photo of the week.

I appreciate particularly your congratulations and your kind judgement, but since I have just received a 0 or 1 star vote( I evaluate), eliminating for ever the photo from the Quality ranks, it seems someone disagree...

On the other hand, the same thing happened to ALL the very worthier pics at the first places of the No limit/Number of votes rank.

Coming back to this photo, I admit that I dedicated some time to the study of the composition: the first trial was made a dozen of years ago! I'll send you a copy..

Cheers!

There used to be a bunch of douchebags that downvoted the best photos to get them kicked off the Photos. Now the elves can monitor the voting and find out who the culprit is. Not only that, if it is just one idiot, the software automatically deletes the bad vote when the server is updated at night. Great photo! Maybe the elves will take care of the downvoter.
