Vinjerac village has one of the most exciting and beautiful views of Velebit massif's seaboard side! It is placed on the opposite side of Velebitski Kanal (Velebit Channel). This is part of Paklenica area, South Velebit. Above the canyon of Mala Paklenica is Sveto Brdo (1751m). From the coast through Mala Paklenica 9-10h is needed to reach the summit of Sveto Brdo!

Voted 10/10 | Sasa, your recent series is just great again! I have a feeling, that you enjoy taking your 14 days, preparing a set of pictures of unprecedented beauty and then show them to the wide world. As if you would be saying - see, I can provide them endlessly, and each next series will be more beautiful! Really something to admire. If God heard what William said, he may also see what you are posting here!!! | | Posted Mar 10, 2005 4:28 pm |

Hasn't voted | Well Vid, all I can say to such kind comment is thank you very much!! I have more than 4000 photographs in strict Velebit selection and they just keep pouring in :-) I posted quite a lot but most will never be on SP because that would be too much. Also there should be 4-5 more Velebit pages of the areas. In an hour or two I'm going on a 2 and 1/2 day trip on Velebit. What a beautiful day but unfortunately it is not going to last. Some crazy weather and warm up is forecasted but crazy weather can produce crazy pictures so you never know :-) I just hope Velebit won't be in the clouds whole of Saturday and Sunday. I'd be glad to see how Alan area looks with this much snow :-) | | Posted Mar 11, 2005 5:28 am |

Hasn't voted | Velebit,
your photos of this magic mountain have th epower to take the breath away from even the most ardent highland dwellers...
We need to speak urgently about some ideas I have for Velebit. I am a British Army Officer, with roots in the Former YU (Zenica and Kastela).
Hope this reaches you and that you're still active.
Pozdrav
Damir
