Prayer flags and other junk were tied around Samsonov's ski pole. I removed them on this ascent, a solo trip taken to the top on 1st January 2005. In the background looking north are, left to right, Mt Epperly, Mt Tyree and Mt Shinn.

Incredible!

What a surreal view! Congrats on the ascent! I hope to climb Vinson someday.
