| I went back to Zion with my wife and 10 month son to do the Narrows top down. It was excellent. The water level was @ 30cfs which made for an easier time. I did bring a walking stick to help me balance with a baby on my back. | ||

| We did it in about 10 hours conditions were perfect. I never saw such unique and beautiful before in my life. | ||

| This hike was part of my first trip to USA. I tried to explore as much as possible, and took an extensive trip over the American Southwest. I did return back in 2001, and hike only a small section with my son. | |

| Hiked from the bottom up to campsite 11 and back. The water was pretty murky from the storm the day before, but still a pleasant day. Lots of swims. Floating downstream on our backs in the evening was pretty cool. | |

| Completed Temple of Sinewava to Big Springs and return trip in just under ten hours. Water temp 58 degrees with a flow rate of 134 CFS (140 is the max the NPS will let people go up). The flow was pretty strong but quite fun! Def think the canyoneering boots, stick and drybags are must haves. I believe our party of three were the first to Big Springs since March due to closures and it being the second day it was open. | |

| One of the best places in Zion Park - awesome photo opportunities. Did it with kids (about 12 and 15?) - who were very excited to hike through the water! Would go again any time! | |

| Journeyed a couple times up it in 2009. Made is just barely short of big springs and have explored up orderville a bit. The Narrows is gorgeous and an amazing experience you don't want to miss out on. My favorite souvenir was virgin water out of one of the rock springs. Looking forward to going back in August. | |

| Fun day hike. Hired a shuttle to take us to the trailhead and we hiked/wadded/swam the full length of the canyon in a day. I remember a woman hiking just in front of us fell and seriously broke he wrist at about the 4 or 5 mile point. We helped her make a splint with some pac strapes and they turned around to head back to the shuttle drop. I was concerned that they may have to wait a long time for a ride, but we saw her partner a few days later at a local restaurant in town. It turns out that they met some other hikers along the trail on the way back to the trailhead, and the nice folks gave them the keys to their car so they could drive back into Zion for medical help. It's nice to recall " a kind act from strangers". | |

| One of the coolest hikes I've done with the family. Hiked about a mile past Wall Street, and along some of the side canyons. Truly amazing what water can do to sandstone and shale. While "touristy," it is highly recommended. The shoulder season would be even better. Next time through, the Subway and Corkscrew Canyon! | |

| This one took a bit more logistical work than we expected. We decided to do the hike at 7 pm the night before, but the ranger station had already closed for the evening. We didn't want to book a seat on a shuttle to Chamberlain Ranch without a permit, because we might not be able to get one in the morning. We got the ranger station first thing in the morning when they opened, picked up a permit, and got some of the last seats on the shuttle that left at 9:30 am. We started hiking at 11 am (a bit late, but it was our only option), knowing that we had no choice but to do it in a day. It was going quickly until the last few miles when my friend's knee started getting pretty bad--but we made it out, caught a bus out of the canyon, dropped off our rental drysuits and cruised back to Salt Lake so he could catch a flight the next morning. A great way to finish the trip. | |
