Magnificient Ascent!  Sucess!

We started the ascent from Rifugio di Corsi via main route from the hut. Fantastic autumn day, great views and magnificent Montaz view ahead of us was the best prize of the day.
Few chamois in front of us during the ascent fulfilled the day!

Me and my cousin Irena climbed Vis by this route, I think it was 2004 or 2005,starting from Saisera valley and Rif.Pellarini, we had some difficulties finding the beginning of the route, but later on it is a pure pleasure, with an exception of occasional sound of falling rocks.beautiful and wild, it is.We summited and proceded by Anita Goitan route and turned back to Rif.Corsi, where we spent the night. We were terribly hungry, and had to wait more than two hours for the supper.A wonderful day

Route climbed: from Forcella di Riofreddo, sentiero Anita Goitan then S slope  Sucess!

Nice ferrata over Sentiero Anita Goitan: fixed steel cables for protection along most of the rockiest sections, there is one particular step which needs extra care (there are 50 metres to descend). Southern slopes are steep but not difficult going uphill, they require a bit of extra care going downhill (but no protection needed).
Awesome route, this was also due to the very nice weather (clear sky and not too hot)!
I saw an ibex as well, not scared at all by my presence!

nice and easy. I saw a fighting pair of goats (capra ibex)

This mountain has actually two summits, the main seems to be lower
