Zunil, and its brother Santo Thomas, are very prominent land forms in this region of Guatemala. It can be found between the towns of Zunil, Quetzaltenango, Nahualá, Sololá, and Zunilito, Suchitepequez. Although it offers some of the most stunning views to be found in Guatemala, Zunil is probably one of the least visited volcanoes. These pictures were taken along the Alaska Route.
