Wah Wah  Sucess!

Steep and loose. From the summit, I also went over to 8781 and found that terrain to be quite pleasant as compared to the way up Wah Wah.

North Wah Wah  Sucess!

I spent the night in Milford and the next day I climbed Frisco Peak in the morning and then North Wah Wah highpoint. Like described it is a very steep, loose climb. For me route finding meshed up with common sense and I was able to work my way up to the ridge just east of the false summit without too much difficulty. From there it is very straight forward all the way to the top. Compared to when Dean signed the summit registry there now may be 15 groups to sign in, in the 11 years the register has been there. 15 groups in 11 years, very remote peak. Although several in the last few years. Climbed this and Frisco by myself, very enjoyable excursion to this part of the state. I plan to be back in a couple weeks to climb the Wah Wah Highpoint south of Highway 21 and Indian Peak.

North Wah Wah  Sucess!

Started from the pass. Experienced all types of weather from sunshine to rain and hail. I tried to avoid the brush as much as possible but still got a little scratched up.

Cross Country  Sucess!

Thanks Greg and Dean for breaking most of the branches in front of me - this was a very brushy hike, I would recommend wearing pants. :) Very fun day though.
