27 Peaks in 21 Days
I went solo up Wahguye in the afternoon after Grapevine, making up my own route to reach the east ridge. We did Palmer the next day. It was damn cold the entire time with temperatures at camp in the teens. This was part of a 21 day hiking road-trip I did with Heather. Other peaks we did on this trip include:
Pinos, Sawmill, Aliso, Signal, Castle Dome, Ajo, Miller, Superstition BM, Turtle HP, Old Woman, Granite, Cinder Cone 3894', Avawatz, Pahrump, Pinto, Nelson HP, Panamint Butte, Canyon Point, Shadow, Grapevine, Palmer, Stirling, Northshore, Black Mesa, Hamblin, and Little Virgin.
We also visited Heiroglyphic Canyon, Marble Canyon, Cottonwood Canyon, Sheep Spring Canyon, Cadiz Dunes, Mojave Lava Tube, Parowan Gap Dinosaur tracks and numerous pertroglyph sites.

From Grapevine
Kind of a gross talus-slog on the way up. Much better descending through the woods to the NE. Trip report.
Agree, nicer than Grapevine. Looped to avoid coarse talus on way down, came most of the way down on NW; much smaller scree, but bring gaiters or you will stop to empty your boots every minute.

north slopeNice August hike with DB. Outstanding summit views. This is a much more interesting peak than nearby Grapevine Peak.

North slopeBig old scree fest! Me thinks the northeast ridge would be a lot easier.
