| I did a fair amount of exploring this area during the morning hours I was there. I followed Walker Mountain Trail, Monster Rock Trail, drove the entire Walker Mountain Road, and even got close to (but did not officially summit) Little Walker Mountain. The only thing I did not do was pay to climb up the private lookout tower. A gorgeous area. A lot of deer were everywhere. | |

| Everyone kept telling us there were a lot of deer around. But we camped there a week and never saw a single one. | |
