Walliser Alps panorama from Pointe de Vouasson

Click on the image for a large version, or Click here for an annotated one. The summit of Pointe de Vouasson (3490m) is not far behind me. It was windy up there, so I only stayed for a few minutes before looking for a more sheltered place to enjoy my lunch, and the views. Some of the most impressive Swiss mountains dominate the skyline. Easily recognizable of course is the Matterhorn, just left of the center. I'll agree that it looks pretty, but to be honest, looking at this panorama I'm more impressed by Dent Blanche, the one further left. 10 March 2014.
