Sattersfield’s Crack- 230’-5.8***  Sucess!

This is one of the better 5.8 trad routes in Vedauwoo. Take the obvious wide left facing corner which offers shade in July until noon. Great movement up the corner eventually gets you in a fun, but easy, chimney. Finish through the chimney up easy face to the upper fixed rap. Two single 70m fixed raps. Watch your ropes on the 2nd one. Single rack, double for less experienced, to C4#4. Dow

In the Out Door- 130’-5.9+***  Sucess!

Start up the trad route to the right of (Satterfield’s Crack) and divert up and left onto the three bolts to In The Out Door. They follow the dark and polished water runnel to the fixed rap above. Run out and thoughtful edge climbing make it full on for the grade. The guide talks about finishing on the Kopischka finish. I don’t know what that is, but after clipping the last bolt, up and left ties into the last bolt of Friday’s Follies and up and right finished on Satterfield. Four draws, a few pieces of gear and slings for the start. Dow
