Wellsville Cone from Rattlesnake Trail  Sucess!

Did a short link up with Box Elder Pk from the Rattlesnake Trail for amazing views on the summit of the Wellsville Cone. Really neat fossils in the saddle between the two peaks!

Knife point ridge top   Sucess!

Great leg workout. This is a steep hike and can be very hot in the summer as you are exposed much of the hike. Really cool to walk the knife like ridge once on top over to the Wellsville cone. We started from Mendon on the North end of the range and went straight up to the ridge before walking along to the South.
I would recommend this hike to anyone in the area. I would like to hike it in the fall around mid Sept-October.

Time to Collect them All!

My first hike up the Wellsville Range, but DEFINITELY not my last! Well worth the drive to try and collect them all.

Almost all of the high points  Sucess!

I grew up in Brigham City and Went to College in Logan. In High School climbed most of the southern peaks, college years the rest with a few long ridge runs in the 90's. Knew the range very well 20 years ago, time to get back.
