West Apostle knife edge

This knife edge between the false summit and the true summit surprised us on our ascent of West Apostle. The "standard" route skirts this by dropping 50' below it on the other side, but thinking it looked fun we went across it instead. There are good holds on the south side, but the north side (pictured) has one heck of a steep slab and is quite dramatic. September 13, 2008.
