| It's been a while since I climbed this, but I thought I'd sign the log anyway. It was a great climb but we were slowed down by the party ahead of us and took longer than we expected to finish. Ran short on food (I've never made THAT mistake again!). | |

| Sierra Ledge Rat | First Winter Big Wall Solo | |
| My first winter big wall solo, took me 3-1/2 days. During my last night on the wall a winter storm moved into the Valley. Another solo climber on The Nose froze to death, but I survived that night. | |

| nice climb, noone else. didn't use any fixed gear, which actually made it harder (trying to avoid all the fixed gear!) | ||
