Oops - Bierstadt as a child of West Slope Variation?

Hey, Dude:

Somehow this page got attached as a PARENT of Mt. Bierstadt.

Parent: http://www.summitpost.org/route/167058/west-slope-
variation.html

Child: http://www.summitpost.org/mountain/rock/150196/mount-bierstadt.html

I'm guessing this had to be a boo-boo.

Safe climbing,

Sarah

This is a Mt. Evans route...

Nothing wrong with the way you did the page, but this route is terrible. It is one of the worst routes I have climbed on a 14er. There was a bunch of people up here the day i did it (coming off the Sawtooth) and everybody hated it. And it should be posted under Mt Evans. To climb Bierstadt from here you would have to go backwards up and over the Sawtooth.

To each they're own eh?

If looking to be totally PC about the route it should be for Spalding, I have it for Bierstadt because that's how Roach has it in his guide book and I kept it consistent in case others are looking for that same route.
Anyways, those who did not like it maybe should have taken one of the standard routes. Personally I sometimes prefer a different route and some sort of challenge, Bierstadt and Evans are mundane at best and over crowded on the standard routes ( and summits for that matter ). You both seem to have a preference to the standard walk up's. So be it! I and others like me sometimes prefer a bit more. Cheers
