Voted 10/10 | The top of Kinesava may not be visible in that pic-- it's a white dome that is "in back" of the reddish "prow."

Voted 10/10 | The photos in this may help; I think you can see the top near the start of the Trail, but it looks pretty lame from that angle. It's the highest lump on a plateau, set a ways back.

Once again, you make me want to take that trail farther. Just not in summer! | | Posted May 4, 2011 4:39 pm |

Hasn't voted | I am glad I got you interested. Yes do not do it in summer.
To go to Zion, we flew to Las Vegas and drove north on I-15. I think I could see Moapa Peak from the road. I suppose that is what MoapaPk refers to? | | Posted May 5, 2011 8:45 am |

Voted 10/10 | Yes, but the name was not originally associated with climbing. I belonged to a website for folks with brain damage, and was supposed to pick a screen name that reflected my world view. I thought of Moapa Peak, stolid, isolated, standing by itself against the storms. The name stuck. | | Posted May 5, 2011 11:29 am |
