| Picked up strong athletic young hitchhiker in Bow heading to Manchester, told him where I was going about which he didn't comment except where to leave him off. Summit area was trashed and tower locked. Later learned from local that area was a hangout for gentlemen of a persuasion featured in a recent cowboy movie. | ||

| I only wish that this observatory was open throughout the summer instead of the limited time it is. Easy trails to the summit. | |
